Healing through Dance and Movement classes are designed for all women wanting to create wellness and for those who may have health challenges. This is a space to create wellness through fitness of the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

This is an empowering class that is designed to promote a healthy body, mind and spirit. It is a combination of meditation, bellydance movements, breathing exercises and self empowering exercises that help you to connect with your inner power.

Bellydance is a non-impact, weight-bearing exercise and is thus suitable for all ages, and is a good exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis in older people. Many of the moves involve isolations, which improves flexibility of the torso. Dancing with the veil can help build strength in the upper-body, arm and shoulders. Playing the zills trains fingers to work independently and builds strength. The legs and long muscles of the back are strengthened by hip movements.

Research has also shown that women with problems with their menstruation experience a more positive their menstrual cycle and sexuality.

This dance acknowledges your female energy and helps you to focus on your health, happiness, motivation and love for life. Through this dance you will become aware of what your body wants and deserves. The presence of love and healing energy will be present in every class.
