My Unyielding Commitment
Every time I meet with a client who is going through cancer treatment, my passion and commitment to continue with A Women's Wellness Center is reinforced. When I was diagnosed with cancer 8 eight years ago I was truly blessed with my faith, the love and support of my husband, my children, my church family, my mother, my brothers and sisters. When I realized that not everyone has the love and support or the faith to face such a difficult time I decided to open this organization. There have been so many women who share with me that their husbands and families are not loving or supportive, and I am grateful that we are here to hold their hand, to listen to them, to encourage them, to find them resources, to give them a free wig or a free hug.
You might not be able to be here to give them a hug, or to listen to them, but you can be here in spirit through your financial support, by donating your car, donations, or supporting our fund raiser events. You have the opportunity to do just that by joining us this Holidays Season at the "Old School & Oldies but Goodies Dance" on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM to benefit our programs for low income women diagnosed with cancer. - Fund the only non-profit Health Boutique in South Bay for women diagnosed with cancer where we offer Free wigs for the women who loose their hair during chemotherapy treatment.
- Provide Affordable Wellness Therapies and Classes that research has proven naturally improve the quality of their life and minimize the side effects of cancer treatment such as pain, insomnia, depression, and anxiety.
- Wellness Coaching and support to help with managing the side effects such as; loss of appetite, mouth sores, and nausea.
- Resource and Referrals to other community resources, to help with finances, co-pays, transportation, support and other needs.
We hope that you will see the importance of supporting an organization that serves the needs of women of South Bay who are experiencing a life threatening illness. Please be as generous as you can.

With your financial support, car donations or volunteer services, we offer affordable wellness services for low-income men and women diagnosed with cancer and other degenerative illness who need relief from chronic pain, depression, nausea, fatigue, and other incapacitating symptoms.
Individuals who are at poverty levels should have the opportunity to live without pain and suffering.

$1,200 Angel of Love - sponsors 1 man or woman diagnosed with cancer for one year. This only is only $100 per month.
$600 Angel of Hope - sponsors 1 woman or man diagnosed with cancer for 6 months.
$300 Angel of Peace - sponsors 1 man or woman diagnosed with cancer for 3 months.
Volunteer opportunities are always available at A Women's Wellness Center:

Our Most Recent Accolades & Accomplishments
- Our Founder and CEO Erendira Abel was recently honored with the "Angel de la Comunidad" or Community Angel Award by Funeraria del Angel Humphrys.
- Erendira Abel, Founder & CEO completed with honors a certification program and is now a Certified Holistic Health Specialist and offers Wellness & Holistic Health Coaching.
- We are very happy and grateful to add to our Angels Program; Community Health Group and Funeraria del Angel who are now our newest Angels of Love.
- A Women's Wellness Center received the recognition from the community as the Golden Star Best Wellness Center of South Bay Award through the Star Newspaper.
